Born in Niigata Prefecture, 　Japan

Studied under Yasuko Nakashima and Sumiko Goto in the Ikuta school of Koto music

Graduated in humanities from Gakushuin Junior College

Graduated from Seiha Academy of Music

Completed the 22nd NHK (Japan's public broadcasting service )training course in
Japanese music
